The Head of TikTok owns Formulation Factory's entire TikTok ecosystem — organic channel, TikTok Shop, paid dark posts, and the affiliate and creator network that feeds all three.
You will build and manage a high-output affiliate and creator program, oversee content strategy and publishing cadence on the organic channel, coordinate with our paid media team on whitelisting and dark post amplification, and own the TikTok Shop infrastructure from product listing to conversion optimization.
We are not looking for someone who understands TikTok in theory. We are looking for someone who has built something real on it — a channel, a shop, an affiliate program, or ideally all three — and is ready to do it again at a brand with the product quality and creative infrastructure to support serious scale.
Own the Formulation Factory TikTok channel end to end. Set and execute the organic content strategy, maintain a consistent publishing cadence, brief and oversee content creation in collaboration with the Creative Strategist, and ensure the channel reflects the brand's voice with accuracy and authority. You are accountable for channel growth, engagement benchmarks, and the quality of every piece of content that goes live.
Build, manage, and scale a high-performing TikTok affiliate and creator network from the ground up. This includes recruiting and vetting creators, negotiating terms, briefing content, tracking performance by creator and by post, managing payouts, and continuously optimizing the roster based on ROI. You know how to find creators who actually convert — not just creators with reach — and you have the systems to manage a large network without it becoming chaotic.
Own the TikTok Shop infrastructure: product listings, pricing strategy, promotional setup, shipping and fulfillment coordination with Operations, and ongoing conversion rate optimization within the platform. You understand how the Shop algorithm works, how affiliate commissions interact with organic and paid traffic, and how to run Shop-specific campaigns that drive measurable GMV. Revenue through TikTok Shop is a core KPI for this role.
Work closely with the Head of Growth and paid media agencies to identify top-performing organic and creator content for whitelisting and dark post amplification. You brief the paid team on winning hooks, angles, and formats and ensure there is a continuous pipeline of creator-approved content available for amplification.
Own a weekly TikTok performance report covering channel growth, video performance, affiliate GMV by creator, TikTok Shop revenue, and commission spend vs. revenue generated. You track every dollar in and out of the TikTok ecosystem and use that data to make fast decisions on creator roster management, content doubling, and budget allocation. This role has a commission component tied directly to the revenue it drives.
TikTok has specific rules around supplement advertising and health claims. You stay ahead of platform policy, ensure every piece of content complies with FTC disclosure requirements and TikTok's advertising guidelines, and protect the brand from enforcement risk. A viral video with a bad health claim is a liability, not a win.
This role does not own:
Owns: TikTok channel strategy and publishing, affiliate and creator program, TikTok Shop operations, creator content briefing and approval, and all TikTok-specific performance reporting.
Reports to: Head of Growth for channel performance and revenue alignment; Founder for brand voice and product accuracy questions.
Collaborates closely with: Creative Strategist on organic and creator briefs, Paid Media team on whitelisting and dark post pipeline, Operations on TikTok Shop fulfillment, Finance on affiliate commission tracking, and CX Lead on community escalations.
This is a channel general manager who owns revenue, builds systems, and treats TikTok as a business unit — not a content channel with a commission structure bolted on.
This role carries a base salary of $100,000+ with a performance commission tied directly to TikTok Shop GMV and affiliate-driven revenue. The commission structure is designed to reward meaningful scale — the expectation is that a high performer in this role earns significantly above base. Specific commission tiers will be discussed during the interview process.
